This is the first Substory you gain access to in the game, and will be pointed out to you during A Long Overdue Reunion. Turtle, the turtle that lives with Master Roshi, is tired of his dirty habits and seems to have hid one of the hermit’s “books.” Roshi wants you to find it, so your first order of business is to ask around to see if anyone else saw it, starting with Bulma. She doesn’t know, but did see Turtle behind Roshi’s house, so head behind there and talk with him. He gives a hint that the book is in the ground, with the game giving an even bigger hint with a marker nearby. Approach it, then choose to dig up the book and you’ll automatically return it to Roshi.
