The Pokémon Mansion is a building located on the east side of Route 212 (North), accessible from Hearthome City. It’s home to Mr. Backlot, a rich braggart who’s proud of his Pokémon-filled backyard.
After obtaining the National Pokédex, Mr. Backlot will arrange for a new Pokémon to be added to the Trophy Garden each time you speak to him during a different day. When you visit the Trophy Garden, you can encounter the Pokémon he just added, plus the one he previously added (if you spoke to him before).

The Trophy Garden is a Pokémon-friendly habitat maintained by Mr. Backlot, accessible via the back door of the Pokémon Mansion. There’s a small selection of wild Pokémon that you can encounter here–the most notable being Pichu and
Pikachu.
Once you’ve obtained the National Pokédex, Mr. Backlot can arrange for up to two additional Pokémon to appear in the garden (see above for explanation).
