This page details all the floating platforms found in the Lake region when playing Master Mode.
Locations of the floating platforms in the Lake region.
To simplify things, we’ve split the platforms into two categories. The first are those that are well within the boundaries of the Lake region. Meanwhile the second are those that border another region. Platforms in the second category will also be listed in the other region’s section.
Within Lake Region¶
Group 1¶
(1 of 2) Light these boxes on fire to create an updraft.

There are two floating platforms located along the north half of the Bridge of Hylia, near Central Hyrule. Both are occupied by Lizalfos with Bomb Arrows. The northern platform has a chest with a Knight’s Halberd. Meanwhile, the Lizalfos on the southern platform is carrying a Mighty Lynel Bow.
To reach the platforms, you can set the nearby wooden boxes on fire using fire-based weapons. Then glide up via the updraft. If you shoot the platforms down, it’s a long way down to the bottom of the lake; this makes it tricky to retrieve the treasure chest and Lynel Bow.
Group 2¶
(1 of 2) Glide east from Lake Tower to reach these platforms.

East from Lake Tower, there’s a trio of floating platforms. Two of them are protected by Lizalfos archers. The north-east platform has a Topaz chest and the southern platform has a Fire Rod chest.
Naturally, you can glide down from Lake Tower to board the platforms. Or you could shoot down the platforms from below. Since there’s solid ground below, it’s quite easy to recover the chests and the Lizalfos will take heavy damage from the fall, if not outright die.
Group 3¶
(1 of 2) This bridge is just before the Horse God’s fountain.

South from Highland Stable, there’s a single platform next to the Horse God Bridge. It’s guarded by a Bokoblin archer. The chest here contains a Demon Carver. You can use Magnesis to yoink the chest.
Bordering Lake Region¶
Group K¶
(1 of 2) Glide towards the waterfall that leads to Lake Hylia.

South from Proxim Bridge, there’s a small waterfall that leads into Lake Hylia. Just before the waterfall, there are three platforms. Two of them are patrolled by Bokoblins with Shock Arrows. The northernmost platform has a chest with a Knight’s Halberd. Meanwhile, the southernmost platform has two wooden crates.
The area nearby has plenty of higher ground that you can glide down from.
Group L¶
(1 of 2) This is another easy chest to grab with Magnesis.

Towards the east edge of the Lake region, at the boundary with the Faron region, there’s a lone platform next to Sarjon Bridge. A Bokoblin wielding a Lynel Bow with Bomb Arrows is on the watch here. Next to it is a chest with a Royal Shield. If the Bokoblin hasn’t noticed, you can snatch the chest with Magnesis.
